Sweden uses its neutrality as an opportunity to sell sophisticated ways to kill people defence systems to all comers so SAAB (they became Saab later) were busy during the war. After the outbreak of peace they searched around for something else to do and decided to give cars a go.
Here we have their first, the 92. Note various points of interest- aerodynamic styling, trafficators just in front of the doors, suicide doors (safety remained in the future!), unusually thick door panels and lhd. Sweden was anticipating a change to driving on the right and although this was still twenty years in the future people were buying lhd in anticipation.

Not to be a dick but... This is the Ursaab. A prototype that eventually lead to the Saab 92. Which looked slightly different, like this:
Am I right?
And that Ursaab is awesome anyway so thanks for sharing ;-)

I rather though that might be the case but it's still a 92, just a prototype...

So, this is a Porsche Boxster?
Endless discussion, excuse me, I'll just see myself out.
